How to Tee-Off without getting Teed-Off

      Do you ever have the problem, no matter how hard you try, no matter what you
do you just can't hit that ball up in the air? Do you end up toppin it? Or barely get it
above ground?  
Well you know golf is a funny game because it's largely a game of
opposites. And one of the opposites that you must grasp is that if you want the ball
to go up you have to hit down. Now for most beginners that's a hard concept to grasp
but even for some experienced golfers it's a difficult one to actually do.

Distance Wedges







From this setup position you simply need to swing back so your left arm is parallel with the ground like this:



..and then swing through in unison until the finish of your swing when almost all of the weight should be on your left foot and the club should be parallel with the ground like this:

So that's the stock standard distance wedge shot that you should master first. Once you've practiced that - and have the distances all your wedges fly on average then you should practice either a shorter or longer swing.  But the important thing is that you master hitting the ball the distance you want with this first distance wedge swing I've just shown you.
